Linda graduated in 1984 with a Royal Ballet School teaching diploma and pursued her teaching career, beginning as teaching cover at The Royal Ballet School, Whitelodge and the Junior associates at Sadler Wells.
The Linda Virgoe Dance Studios was founded by Linda in 1985, driven by the ambition to deliver the very best in technical dance training with an emphasis on nurturing students from their very first class to the moment they pursue the next steps in their dancing career.
In 2001, the school moved to a stunning new premises, set over 4 beautiful dance studios, complete with a singing studio, café, and dance wear shop.
Dance Styles
The move in 2001 transformed the dance school into the Linda Virgoe Dance Studios we know today, offering expert training in ballet, modern, tap, street, musical theatre (including Jazz), acrobatic arts and aerial. The classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, our team of friendly teachers are here to help all budding dancers, stage stars or pop stars learn the skills to realise their dreams.

Competitions & Events
All our students are given the opportunity to be entered for RAD ballet exams, as well as ISTD tap and modern and BBO Musical Theatre. Our dance teachers will coach each student through the requirements of the exams and ensure they feel fully prepared.
We are also proud to offer pupils the opportunity to perform in dance festivals around the county as well as our very own stunning dance and drama performances. These are either hosted at our Studio or, more often, at a local theatre to allow pupils the experience of being up on stage in front of an audience.
During the summer holidays, the studios run a variety of popular dance and theatre classes for all ages, with more information posted on our website nearer to the time.
